Back in the HOT SEAT

Having grown up in Japan, I love WARM TOILET SEATS...not really the first kind you'll see below but the kind of toilet seat that comes with a built in seat warmer with temperature controls attached to the side of the seat for your very own butt heating pleasure. Much to my surprise, my American friends think I'm a freak! Can you imagine?! Your loss, fools!!

You know when you tell a family member, especially grandparent types that you like something and then you get tons and tons of that thing that you may have just mentioned liking in passing?

Well that has happned to me with toilet seat warmers. My Japanese grandmother (not actually related but may as well be) started by sending me the below, in care packages.

Isn't the flower pattern beautiful?

Then today, I received this package. Note the contents: Food and yup, that's right, you guessed it...TOILET SEAT COVERS!

I couldn't wait to tear it open!!

So here's the progression...

It begins with my lonely toilet seat:

Lonely no longer!

Outfitted with Hot Seat!!

Finally! Reconnected with my roots, I am whole again:

I'm PARTYING!!

As one of your 'american friends'...not into the "hot seat"...let me explain:
When I think of a warm toilet seat...the image of my dad exiting the bathroom on a saturday morning with a cigarette in one hand and the NJ Star Ledger in the other...a trail of smoke behind him...coming from the one and only bathroom in our house.-MANY years later...I LOVE my cool seat...just for me!

I just spoke with my mother who was mortified by your pictures. She said there is no room for such a DISRESPECTFUL DAUGHTER in our family. The marriage is over.

Yeah, are you fucking insane, Andrea Herner? How could you put your home address in the same post where you put a picture of you and your bare ass on a toilet?

I am satan and you're freaking ME out.

Get a clue, stop blogging so naively. Cuz if there's one thing Satan loves, it's a really adept blogger, who knows all the ins and outs of blogging.

Thanks, Satan
ps don't "blog" the toilet! ahhhaahahahah!

THANKS GUYS!! NOTE THAT I'VE BLURRED MY ADDRESS & NUMBER...DIDN'T ANTICIPATE ALL MY STALKERS AS A RESULT OF THIS POST!
THANKS AGAIN!
NAIVELY BLOGGING,
ANDREA

it's too bad you didn't get the flower print. although, it would be hard to concentrate on the pretty pattern with your ass in the way. and i had no idea your soon-to-be-ex-husband was such a momma's boy. and a prude. no worries, you're better off without him.

Hi Andrea,
G'day from Australia.
My name is Heath and I am from Australia and love the hot seat idea. Could you tell me where I could buy it from in Japan?
Thanks a lot

What about Yosuko Yashida's address? Don't they have stalkers in Japan?

The hot seat is a great idea! I thought of making one... But apparently they already exist... darn!

My husband just started a business importing the exact same product as the flower pattern one. They are called "Softseat" and they are available in 5 colors (Light blue, light green, pink, light yellow & beige). Please visit www.softseat.biz for more information. Thanks.

Is this safe? I'd be nervous with wires near water near privates. Then again..... heat never goes on to save dough = cold seat in the morning = pet peeve. Hmm, sounds pretty good after all...

Lovely way to spend a morning off, finding your site. Thank you, Andrea.
