Going UpRiver with a Major Crush on Kerry

I've got a major crush on Kerry. And I mean MAJOR.

It all began while watching Going UpRiver, an excellent documentary about Kerry's service in Vietnam and his incredible leadership upon returning from Vietnam. I highly recommend it and you're in luck - It's in theaters now.

Although it's depressing that our current President was doing keg stands during this time, you'll be inspired and excited to welcome Kerry as our next President!

Here are some snapshots of a true leader. Click on pics for the trailer.

Upon returning from Vietnam, Kerry leads the Vietnam Veterans against the War...

Kerry testifies before the Senate Foreign Relations Committee.

I think most people could only hope to be as articulate as Kerry was already at age 27.

Stop trash talking keg stands. They're the one truly laudable thing Bush has ever done.

Frontline...

All week frontline is running a episode on kerry and bush.

prior to the Frontline special i was leaning twds kerry (being pro-kerry as oposed to simply anti-bush)

that in cunjunction with watching Alexandra Pelosi's new movie (which was not as good as journeys w/ george) have just about cemented my pro-kerry notions.

However in all fairness, if Bin laden gets caught and we are down to code: blue (from orange in NY)
I will vote for bush.

I was lucky enough to walk out of Ladder 49 and into Going Up River last week. I too now have a major crush on Kerry. j/k. Really, the movie was an incredible look at the struggle to stand up and do the right thing for the soul of our country.

I just found out a few minutes ago that the Sinclair Broadcasting Group (they’re the ones that blocked Nightline from reading names of soldiers killed in Iraq) is forcing its 62 local stations to play an hour-long anti-Kerry 'documentary' this coming week before the election. This is a ‘documentary’ put together by the same people who did the Swift Boat Vets propaganda.

You can read about it here:

And sign a petition here:

Please sign now, I think the petition has to go out in the next two hours.

rasterbate Kerry if you love him so much

Posted by: homelenad security at October 17, 2004 10:07 PM

Dear Andrea Harner,

Thanks to the healing powers of your psychogically freeing and creativity unleashing website, I now have the confidence to confess in public what I was always embarassed to admit even to myself, and that is, as a loyal Massachusettsian, I have always wanted to rasterbate John Kerry! Now all of China will know my secret when I cover the Mao poster in People's Square with a GIANT JOHN KERRY!

Thank you for your help Ms. Harner in sending me down the path to self realization and rapid recovery.
