Mailbox snooping & judging...

...yielded a big fat TV Guide sitting in front of someone's mailbox because it was too big to fit in the box. There's something really depressing about someone subscribing to TV Guide. It can only mean that you're really really into TV right?

Could possibly just be an indicator of a discriminating viewer... I remember my mom subscribed to TV Guide a million years ago (before Tivo), She would record things she liked and have them waiting instead of channel surfing for something to watch. So, you never know!

That's a good point! Now this is the type of comment that I like and is useful...some aren't so much! Thank you.

It also means they're still paying their cable bill.. some people automatically get their TV Guide as a perk of their subscription. Cablevision in Brooklyn and the Bronx sends special TV Guides to their subscribers.

It's depressing to think that people can ascribe human worth and emotions to dumb animals. Everything from cows to collies are dinner somewhere.

what's really sad is my ex boyfriend's mom. she would break out her highlighter when her tv guide arrived and mark up everything she wanted to watch and then watch AND tape each show according to her guide. it was as if she had no life and the tv guide was some sort of stand-in appointment book.
