Mind your faux pas!

A nice list of what to watch out for by country.

I'd love to hear faux pas in contention - spot any?

In most Arab countries, it is considered polite and a sign of friendship to hold hands when walking.

Is it ok to use my 'unclean' left hand or should I stretch my right hand across my body?

Someone has to use their left hand...;)

Hi Andrea. What I'm writing about has nothing to do with what you've written here, but I'm not sure how to email you, so this is simply a message to you. I am sure that this story will be of interest to you and to the Huffington Post (if they're not already aware of it). Please make sure Jonah reads it. I am Canadian (I've written to you on occasion before) and this story makes me feel so sad for you, our neighbours.

I should have mentioned that I heard of this story via Ron Slattery at bighappyfunhouse.com, my favourite website ever.
